Britney Spears has fired her longtime publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnick and is reportedly going to serve as her own publicist. By: Shannon Gossage
In a shocking move, Spears has reportedly decided to handle her own PR and has kicked Sloane-Zelnick to the curb. Allegedly Spears took over the PR duties around the time she delivered her second child on September 12. It was reported that she and hubby Kevin Federline named the baby Sutton Pierce,hair extensions, a fact that Spears has yet to publicly confirm. Spears and Federline’s first son,cheap hair extensions, Sean Preston, celebrated his 1st birthday only two-days after his little brother was born. Four days later,remy hair extensions, Spears and Federline celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary.
As far as Spears doing her own PR, it is unfortunate that she didn’t learn her lesson after her disastrous interview with Today show host Matt Lauer this past June. During the interview,human hair extensions, six-month pregnant Spears wore a very short jean mini-skirt, a very revealing top, and chomped on a piece of bubble gum throughout the interview. She was ridiculed for her bad hair extensions and make-up job, allegedly she did her own hair and make-up for the interview and didn’t even tell her publicist when it was taking place.
Spears has reportedly made an exclusive deal with People magazine for the first photos of the baby. It has been rumored that she will not confirm that his name is Sutton Pierce until the pics appear in the magazine. People seems to be Spears fave mag since she granted them the rights to publish the first photos of baby #1 – Sean P. She also sold her wedding photos to the magazine. Time will tell if Spears has made a mistake by firing her publicist and handling her won PR. Fingers crossed that she never does another interview where she does her own hair, make-up, and wardrobe.
